You may also spot elusive species such as bat-eared foxes, caracals, and African wildcats. Enjoy a picnic lunch under an acacia tree while surrounded by the sounds of the wild. After descending to the crater floor, you’ll encounter black rhinos, elephants, lions, hippos, and perhaps even a leopard in the Lerai Forest. The diverse habitats—lakes, grasslands, forests, and marshes—make this one of Africa’s richest wildlife sanctuaries. Enjoy a picnic lunch by a hippo pool as flamingos shimmer across Lake Magadi.
